I don’t think I’d have a correct understanding of faith if I weren’t a Braves fan. For years I’ve followed with marginal success, but still faith and hope keep me coming back. Now Thursday they’re having their own faith day at the park. Thankfully it’s not a Jesus bobblehead night.

After the game, John Smoltz will share about his walk with Christ and they’ll have Christian bands playing. It’s an interesting idea and I’ll be curious to see how it pans out.

It would be more interesting if the after game show was actually free (not the $10 cover charge). Our gift of salvation was free, but then again Jesus never had to deal with Ticketmaster.

Any thoughts?
