I’ve noticed a trend lately. There seems to be a shift in God’s people. I’ve ranted on how I’m tired of seeing sleepy Christians, but I’m beginning to see some people awaken. Revival needs to happen and all it takes is prayer, faith and a spark. It feels like there’s plenty of gas laying around, we just need a match. I’ve seen signs of life, just no one rousing it and shepherding it. There’s no one leading the charge. So where are you out there? Are you going to be one of the grumblers (like I am most of the time) or are you going to get on your knees to pray and then do something about it.
I’ll be honest, I’m not always the man I’m called to be. Actually I spend most of my days not being that man. I get caught up in the wave of busyness and routine. I forget who I’ve been called to be. But I want to change.
If we want to see change, I mean real, authentic, spirit driven change. Let’s make a commitment here and now to pray specifically and intentionally for the next 30 days for God to move in us. Each day pray for God to change you and for Him to use you in whatever way possible to forward his Kingdom.
It’s that simple.
All it takes is:
1) Commitment to do it
2) Willingness to be used (or moved) by the Lord.
Let me give you one warning – if you’re actually, whole heartedly doing this – it will be opposed. I mean you may get speeding tickets, get into arguments with your spouse or get sick. All hell will break loose. We have an enemy and he opposes us waking up. But do not be dismayed – the light within us is greater than the darkness surrounding us. Let’s take the charge. Who’s with me?
If you’re with me, come back here and post your victories and challenges in this 30 day adventure.

Hey Stuart! I am with you in your challenge. I hope a few more will join us. Praying dangerously always has its risks, but it will be worth it when revival breaks out. It happens with us in our closets. I love you brother!

I’m ready for battle; the war has already been decided! Lord, I pray that we would be attentive to your leading, dependent on your streangth, willing to your spirit. I’m on God’s side, and He’s kicking some serious demon butt!
