The beginning of the YS recap [as it trickles out of my brain]

This isn’t really a recap or review… but more of a stream bits from the past week. The conference is really hard to package and summarize, so I’ll just let the bits out as they leak out of my ears.
The first bit of business…. THE BEST BAND FROM YS:
Starfield!
Ha ha. I’m kidding. Oh my gosh I’m kidding. For some reason those guys rub me wrong. I just don’t like ‘em. Maybe it’s because we got them instead of Crower for a worship band or because they seem like American Eagle/Abercrombie Rockers. Either way, they were not the best band of YS.
That honor goes to:
Leeland
Those guys rocked us out. An amazing blend of music and lyrics. I’m officially a fan now.
You should check them out too.
Honorable mention to: Big Daddy Weave. They’re a great live band and really humble guys.

WHAT?! No props to Leigh Nash? I guess her appeal is mostly with contemplative 20-something women…but still…she’s pretty incredible.
Wow, thats kinda harsh on Starfield. I mean, i guess they arn’t for everybody, but you made it sound like they have no talent at all. Lol. I mean i agree with you, they arn’t a great live worship band. We had them, at the Dare 2 Share Conference, earlier here in Charlotte, and they didnt meet my expectations, but they arn’t terrible. I do agree with you tho, Leeland rocks… and they probally are better live than Starfield is, and I know Big Daddy Weave, even though i’m not really into there music that much, they are amazing live. So yeahhh. But no one beats Crowder. Oh man…. he’s a beast. Speaking of CROWDER… he’s nomineed for MSN ARTIST OF THE YEAR!!!!!!!! And he’s winning too! VOTE NOW, AND VOTE AGAIN, AND AGIAN, AND AGAIN… and spread the word… all you gotta do is click here: http://music.msn.com/music/artistofthemonth
Man that’s a long comment post.
Good point Heather, she was really good. She touched my inner sensitive side… i shed a tear inside retrospectively and kept it in a bottle to remember the moments of true closeness I shared with my feelings. Hmmm.
Or something like that.
I like strfield. Wat do you mean by AE/Abercrombie rockers? I’m a preppy posser.. i’m offended lol jk

I think this is one blog I had best stay out of.
I’m very glad you were kidding about “Starfield,” they really rub me wrong, too. They’re just not my cup of tea.
I haven’t heard anything by “Leeland.” A few kids I know recommended them to me, but they also said I should listen to “Super Chick” and “Starfield,” so I wasn’t even going to bother, but maybe I’ll check them out after all.
