Demon Clock

Okay I want to tell you all a story and depending on your beliefs it either involves: a demon or an evil clock.
I’m in my office Friday talking with a friend. My friend was sharing with me how discouraged he had been lately. While he was telling me this, my computer alerts me that I have a new email. I turned around to check my email and someone had sent me an devotional about discouragement. Coincidence? I think not. Then, I felt the Lord leading me to read this to him. And as soon as I started to read it. The clock in my office falls off the wall, hits my laptop and splits the screen in two. I’m not kidding.
I’ve had that clock on the wall for 2 years and it has never fallen before. And on top of that, the nail that holds it to the wall was still in place and unmoved.
Demon? Evil Clock? You tell me.
But for me, I don’t believe in clocks.

I worked at a youth camp for three summer, and my first summer, one of my fellow counselors was in his cabin on the weekend with another guy, and he told him, “You have to listen to this new Bon Jovi song [reaches for his cd player]…but it’s a little secular-” and BOOM! The power in the building short-circuited and the lights went out. He was white as a sheet for the rest of the day!
I knew it! Bon Jovi is evil too!
Two years ago, my husband and I had just made a huge commitment to God — totally life-changing. Just before we were going to share our commitment with our families and our pastors, we had a very strange experience.
My husband has Type 1 diabetes. He has had it since he was 13, and I have seen many hypoglycemic reactions (low blood sugar). This experience was very different than any of those other reactions.
We were in bed asleep. I woke up and smelled something burning. It was odd — the smell of smoke wafting through the air, almost like the smell wafted by my bed. I got up to investigate and found nothing burning. I also didn’t smell the burning smell again. So I went back to bed.
Moments later, I had dozed off again, and my husband sits up in bed, beats his hands on the bed, and screams the most horrible scream I have ever heard in my life. His blood sugar was low — very low. And his eyes were open, and he was sitting there banging on the bed and screaming this high-pitched, blood-curdling scream. Immediately, I felt stirred to pray while I got juice for him.
I cannot describe the oppression and darkness I felt. I poured juice in his mouth, then gave him the cup of juice to drink and I prayed aloud. When he calmed down and his blood sugar started rising, he prayed with me. He was soaked in sweat, and he was exhausted (as usual, after a low blood sugar). He couldn’t describe to me what caused such fear. He just knew he was terribly afraid. He did not know he had been screaming, but he was hoarse the next day.
He fell asleep from exhaustion, but I stayed awake for three hours reading scripture and praying scripture. Finally, I felt that oppression lifting and felt a release to go back to sleep.
I didn’t see a vision or anything like that, but I felt certain that our house was surrounded by demons and that there was a war going on.
I know of two people who woke up that night in the middle of the night and felt compelled to pray for us.
wow great story. thank you for sharing it. and glad everything worked out. God is amazing.
Stuart, who drew your demonic clock? It’s great!
