Yep, it’s a girl. Due date: Aug 28. The numbers will now be even within our household. Aida has been partying since she got the news.

  1. Congrats!

  2. Congratulations! :) For a bit we were all evened out at 2 & 2, then we kept going and had 2 more boys, the imbalance of which greatly upset our daughters. They are still lamenting that they are outnumbered and regularly ask if we could please find and adopt a couple of girls to even things out again. They say it as if we’ll find some adorable little girls on aisle 5 at Wal-Mart.

Waiting for a new baby is such an exciting time! Enjoy!

  3. Thank you! The balance is key. I think Aida would have gone nuts and started burning down the place if it had been a boy. Needless to say, she was very happy.

Oh and I always stay clear of isle 5.

  4. We are balanced too. Well everyone else in my family but me! :)

  5. Girls rule!!! Congrats! :)

  6. congrats :)
my poor son he has four mothers(mom + 3 sisters) he never gets a break LOL

  7. Yipee! More estrogen! So is this it????

  8. ha ha I’ll pray for your son prof!

And yes this is it Pearson… for now - I figure we could make some extra cash selling babies on the black market or ebay. Bids starting at $25. Any takers?

  9. hmmm, you two seem to churn out some real cuties…but thanks I’ll have my own.
p.s. congrats on the girl! Looks like a blob to me, but I’m sure there’s a baby in there somewhere.

  10. You may appreciate this. My brother and his wife are expecting their third child. They have a 3 yr.-old son and a 19 mo.-old daughter. They had the ultrasound yesterday and received news they are most likely having a girl. My 3 yr-old nephew really wanted a brother. My sister-in-law consoled him saying if they have another baby after this, maybe that baby will be a boy. My nephew said, “You mean, after we throw this one away?” :)
