Goldfish Watch: Day 2 Update
Posted by: stuartdelony in Blogroll, Children, death, family, goldfish, goldfish watch, kids, pets
It saddens me to say that the smallest goldfish “FEESH!” didn’t make it through the night. It was Samuel’s fish and he seems to be taking it in stride.
Bombshell and Doorknob still live on.
More updates to come.

Was that one blond?
Stuart, a friend-in-the-know told me just yesterday that goldfish have about a 3-5 second memory –that’s it. So that’s how they can feel satisfied swimming endlessly in a circle of a goldfish bowl and not get bored. Each turn is a new experience! But more importantly for your situation, you can rest easier knowing the live fish probably don’t even remember their dear, departed brother (or sister!).
FEESH was the smaller goldie. Bombshell is the white one. Doorknob is the other bigger gold one.
Fact: The oldest living Goldfish to date was a goldfish named Tish owned by Hilda and Gordon Hand of Thirsk, N. Yorkshire, England. Tish lived for 43 years after being won at a fairground in 1956.
GO FOR THE RECORD STUART! Pray every day over them
