When I was in B.C. one of my highlights was visiting the Christ Church Cathedral. I had time to kill and it was one of the few places with free parking. So I thought, why not and I wasn’t disappointed. It’s hard to describe the beauty, the solace, and the peace that this building exudes. It was amazing, sacred space. And as you leave the walking tour, you are told to, “Go in Peace to Love and Serve the Lord.” Those were good words for me to walk away with.

Here are some of shots of the cathedral.

  1. Nice shots Stuart. That second one looks as if you did a bit of Photoshop on. They sure don’t build things the same way anymore huh?

  2. No photoshop buddy. The second pic is taken with my back to the third. There’s a layer of glass between me and the sanctuary, so the stained glass is reflecting from behind me. It gives it a weird effect.
