The Dipstick Check…

Alright, community of blog readers time for me to take the dipstick check, the life check in…
so how’s life treating you?
For me, I’m feeling pretty worn out. Things in ministry are going well, I’m just, well, tried. You know the kind of tired when you’ve been running for a while and you muscles feel like mush, but you keep going? Listless, worn, fried. Yep, that kind of tired.
Let’s do this wacky Christian think called praying. I know it’s a novel concept, but we should try it.
You pray for me, I’ll pray for you….
So tell me, how are you doing?

Stuart,
I’ve prayed for you and Miriam daily since 2001. Also, thanks for your support I just found out yesterday.
We are going through a lot of Spiritual Warfare. It has been an interesting month to say the least. God is faithful.

Lord, give Stuart and his family the strength and courage to live out their daily lives worshipping and glorifying You God. For the times they are tired and weary, remind them of Your promises to never forsake them.
When they are content and peaceful, remind them of Your glory. As they go forth from You to the unbelieving world around them, let their light shine being the faces of God others see.
Amen.
Kristina
PS. my life is pretty stressful lately also, doing too much stuff, just need to get organized and focus on what is important. But i put those pressures on myself and life in general is good to me. God is extremely good to me.

I will certainly add you to my prayers Stuart. You have added wonderful joy and thought to my life since I started reading your blog.
As for me it’s stressful a bit. Trying to get cranked up for camp, the major gathering of teens in my denomination this summer which is majorly expensive (and airfares are giving me nightmares). But next week my lady wife and I depart for a second honeymoon trip to Las Vegas. So I’m just trying to get everything in order before I leave.
