Slurpees and Shaun

Miriam and I enjoyed our Free Slurpee celebrating 7/11 day on our way to the Shawn Groves Concert (sans the kids - hallelujah!). I’ll have to say that at first I was disappointed that more people weren’t there, but by the end of the night, when all was said and done, that small crowd had signed up to sponsor 22 Compassion International children. Even one of our youth (non-churched, mind you, and whom I’m very, very proud of) decided to give some things up so she can support a child in Uganda. The bands were great, Shawn is an entertaining speaker - it was a great night all around!
That’s my weekend so far… how’s yours going?
