Golf Marathon
Posted by: stuartdelony in Blogroll, Christianity, Jesus, Uncategorized, donate, general, give, golf, life, people, religion, youth, youth ministryToday is the day for the YD Fundraising Golf Marathon. I’ll be golfing 100 holes along with a student. So, hopefully by the end of the day, we’ll have played 200 holes combined.
Up until this point, the closest I’ve come to golfing was playing Mario Golf with my kids on the Gamecube. I rock at that, but this is another story. Either way, it should be a fun day.
It’s not too late to pledge.
Go here to pledge (Look for Valeriy Bizayayu - he’s a Russian student golfing with me).
Go here for more info on the marathon and the Valeriy.
I’ll update ya tomorrow!

have fun, how much did you get?

Stuart,
You were amazing at the Golf Marathon. You have the privilege of carrying that high score award for a year and you and Valeriy did great for not being Golf pros. I hope you are healing well after all those swings. It was great to see Miriam and Tristan there for the dinner. Blessings to you for going the distance for kids, YD, and your family.

I should know the totals tomorrow. What I know today is that my body still wants to die from golfing 100 holes and 775 strokes. Yes, I’m terrible. So my goal next year is to break 750 strokes. I was the winning loser!
