Golf Marathon Results!
Posted by: stuartdelony in Blogroll, Christianity, Jesus, Uncategorized, general, life, people, religion, youth, youth ministryWell thank you to all of those who help contribute! You helped to make this a successful year. Arlington YD raised almost $5,000 and I personally raised $1800 for my own personal support. We were truly blessed.
And also, yes, I wanted to brag about myself and the many awards I won. I won the prize for highest score (775 strokes on 100 holes) and if you don’t believe me - note the picture and my amazing skills to whiff the ball (or maybe I’m a left-handed golfer with excellent form). I also won for most balls in the woods with a whopping 63. So yes, my dear friends, I made you proud. I’m always willing to make a fool of myself for a good cause. It also tells me I don’t need to quit my day job, because the PGA won’t be knocking on my door anytime soon.
Thanks for all of your support!

Are you swinging lefty or did you miss?
You know Kev, I’d like to say I was swinging lefty, but that would not be a true statement…
Stuart,
I don’t know whether to laugh or cry for you! As a golfer (and a fairly bad one) that photo is just frightening. You do know that you’re standing about three feet too far away from that ball right? LOL!
I suddenly feel much better about my own game! Sounds like you had fun though.
Laugh away, both Valeriy (the student) and I had no idea what we were doing all it. It was quite a bit of comedy.
The really scary thing is that if you’d connected you would have probably beaned Valeriy. He looks like he’s covered up just in case though.
its the shoes that were slowing you down……..
And if any of you are so moved by my awfulness, I need a golfer for next year… If interested, we can talk.
I’m blogging again. Please adjust your life accordingly!
Well, if you find someone to golf next year then at least your caddy won’t need to wear a cup and a face mask.
True, that’s a way to save money!
