You have opened up yourself to a barrage of abuse on this post! Good on you. I personally detest denoms when their culture and values are placed higher then scripture. At times, the community and accountability is ok but this doesn't happen the way it should. Being an Aussie and watching what happens in the US freaks me out many times. It seems as if there is a civil war going within the church on denom and theological lines. Like yourself, I prefer to be a dangerous christian instead of a labeled one. As far as a title is concerned, I like "Dirty Christ Follower". But even "Christ Follower" is attacked by the conservatives and abused by the liberals. You just can't win! Just give me Jesus!
