We’re being talked about. Yes, I mean we. This blog is being talked about by youth guy Jonathan McKee on his blog – more specifically the post “Picking a Fight: SYAP is Stupid.” I say we because this post has 40+ comments and most of them are yours. Thank you for making this conversation come alive.

While he doesn’t agree with my level of honesty in approaching SYAP, he does agrees with my point about the event. Jonathan has some good points about See You At the Pole as well.

I need your help in solving this mystery. At work, we’re in the process of moving offices. So I haven’t been to my old office in about a week. Yesterday when I arrived, I found this mysterious package.

The only problem is this: I don’t know any Billy’s. Well the one I do know, wouldn’t do this and besides, it has to be someone that reads my blog on a regular basis, because of what was inside.

This book is in reference to a post I wrote a month back about why I hate painting.

So the mystery Billy is:

1) Named Billy

2) Reads this blog

3) Lives in the Pacific Northwest

Any clues? Or will the really Bill, please stand up…

Recently, I’ve been emailing back and forth with a bunch of people that I’ve met because of this blog. I started thinking, I’ve gotten to know so many people that I would have otherwise not have the pleasure of knowing.

I just want to thank all of you who frequent this blog. What started as something ‘to do’ has become a little community of friends.  I appreciate all of you and thank you for being a part of my life.

I’ve gotten to know many of you and look forward to the many others I will get to know.

My life is richer because of you. Thank you.

Over the course of the summer, with the non-stopped pacing… The Ramblings lost it’s way. It lost it’s teeth.

Well, I’m here to tell you that I’m back, baby, with a vengeance. The coffee is kickin’. I’m awake. And let the rants and rambles return!

True. That’s so true. If only this could happen.

It was 9 amazing days. Great stories to tell. We experienced some unspeakable beauty. Had some raw honest moments. And as one of our guides  put it, “God really showed up and the devil wasn’t happy.”
