The voting for the DCCCBoA (Delony Christmas Card Contest Bonanza of Amazingness) is finally over!
It was a tough one this year. I felt like I was dealing with the BCS committee, but the judges (kids, ages 6-1) thought long and hard and picked a winner (which is highly disputed and controversial in our household). But leave it to the kids to be a sucker for cute animals (hint, hint for next year).
So I give you the 2nd Annual DCCCBoA Winner!
Katherine Kitchens is the winner of this year’s best Christmas card! Well done! A Starbucks gift card will be in the mail soon for you to sip a warm cup of victory.
And for me personally, I give you my vote of the most amazing cowboy Christmas card. I’ve never gotten one quite like this and don’t think I ever will.
Ray Bell, I am amazed and tip my hat to you…
For the rest of you, better luck next year.

The competition was excruciating. The judging was tense (see below). After hours of deliberation, my kids voted on a winner.

The WINNER of the
1st Annual Delony Christmas Card Contest Bonanza of Amazingness
is…
THE BUSSEY FAMILY!
Going with the homemade feel, the judges found it irresistible. Sure you can buy a snappy card, but make one of your own? Genius. The card was drawn by young miss Hope Bussey, so we’ve decided to award Hope one prize and the family another. Congratulations!

Second prize is award to: April DeFelice (I won’t mention that she’s my sister in law, because some may cry nepotism). And second prize carries with it the knowledge and pride that you could have been third (even though there is no third). Congrats!
Thank you to all those who played. They were all valiant efforts, better luck next year losers.

This is the final call for those who want to be the proud and few that receive a Christmas card from the Delony family and our ministry at Arlington Youth Dynamics. We’re currently stuffing and sealing envelopes, so if you want to be included, hit me up with an email: sdelony@yd.org.
Don’t come complaining to me when every kid on the block has one and you don’t. This is your chance. It’s free. It’s amazing. It could change your life. This is your final warning.
