Like them or hate them, it doesn’t matter. Because of Gun ‘n Roses you all can have a free Dr. Pepper. Think I’m kidding? Read this:
Dr Pepper is making good on its promise of free soda now that the release of Guns N’ Roses’ Chinese Democracy is a reality.
The soft-drink maker said in March that it would give a free soda to everyone in America if the album dropped in 2008.Chinese Democracy, infamously delayed since recording began in 1994, goes on sale Sunday.
“We never thought this day would come,” Tony Jacobs, Dr Pepper’s vice president of marketing, said in a statement. “But now that it’s here, all we can say is: The Dr Pepper’s on us.”
Beginning Sunday at 12:01 a.m., coupons for a free 20-ounce soda will be available for 24 hours on Dr Pepper’s website. They’ll be honored until Feb. 28. [USA TODAY]

Okay I have an offer for you guys. I said yesterday that I’ll be in the Atlanta area for about 2 weeks in October. During that time I’ll be in Atlanta for the Catalyst conference and also visiting some friends in Nashville.
Here’s my offer. If your church or youth group wants a missionary/speaker to come and talk… I will drive to you as long as you’re within an 8 hour radius of either Atlanta or Nashville. I’m not looking for anything or to get paid. I just think it would be cool to hook up with some of you and experience your minstries. Besides, how can you turn down free?
