It’s almost ten o’clock at night and I’m still at work. The coffee quit working hours ago. Tomorrow is a big day for us. We have our annual fund raiser and last minute details are being wrapped up (and wrapping me up). Pray for me and the rest of us working on this event. Our goal is to raise over thirty thousand dollars towards the ministry here at Arlington Youth Dynamics. We’ve already brought in ten, so twenty more to go!

Pray for my sanity and the Lord’s provision tomorrow…

Today is the day of our annual Youth Dynamics Golf Marathon where golfers are attempting to golf 100 holes in 12 hours. Why would they do such an insane thing? Well, to support missionaries like me!

As missionaries, we have to raise our own support (salary and ministry expenses). Some of that comes from monthly or annual donations and some of it comes from fund raisers like this one. I have a friend, Mitch golfing for me. He and I have been spending the last two months getting pledges per hole he golfs. Mitch is an amazing godly man and I’m so thankful for him.

Anyone want to sponsor my golfer, Mitch? Click here to do so. You can either sponsor per hole or by flat donation. All donations are tax deductible. And remember you’re not just supporting a golfer or a missionary. You’re making sure the gospel is spread to teens in one of the most non-churched areas in the United States.

If you’re interested in hearing more about what I do as a missionary, go here or for more about Youth Dynamics go here.

[I'm on the far right]

Our local paper featured us in an article about our ministry and the recent banquet. I was pretty jazzed about how well it came off. The paper really did a nice job.
