“A tiny village in Serbia says it will construct a statue of the film character Rocky to ward off decades of bad luck. An official from Zitiste, about 55k (33 miles) north of Belgrade, said the statue of Rocky was needed to give the village a more positive image.  Zitiste has suffered serious damage from floods and landslides, earning it a reputation for being jinxed.  “I felt as if Rocky has come from our village,” said a village local”                                                  [BBC News]

It just goes to show you that we all have a need for a Savior, just most of us go looking in the wrong place. Sorry Rocky.

Com’on guys, you just have to sometimes let it die. I mean the first 3 Star Wars movies were great and you didn’t go and make prequels of those? Oh Crap, wait. Never mind.
