I don’t know about you, but I’ve heard enough Christmas music to choke a reindeer. Need a break? Yes, you do.
Here’s a mix full of big sweeping sonic sounds. Oasis, 30 Seconds to Mars, OneRepublic and more…
[And bonus points if the SciFi geek in you knows the meaning behind the mix title]

Ah, it’s one of those weeks already (and it’s only Monday).
So kick your shoes off, and enjoy the day.

The first single for Crowder’s new album “Church Music” is out.
Any thoughts on We Are Loved?
From me: It’s good as background music with a good beat . It’s just like eating a marshmallow – sure, it’s tasty, but what are you left with afterwards. And, I’d hate to see this sung on a Sunday morning (and believe me it will happen somewhere!).

It’s not a hill, it’s a mountain
As you start out the climb
Listen for me, I’ll be shouting
We’re gonna make it all the way to the light
But you now I’ll go crazy if I don’t go crazy tonightBaby, baby, baby
I know I’m not alone
Baby, baby, baby
I know I’m not aloneU2- I’ll Go Crazy If I Don’t Go Crazy Tonight
Sometimes life is hard and knowing you’re not alone makes all the difference…

Hopefully your week has been treating you all well. Mine has been giving me the “read headed stepchild” treatment.
Here’s your mix of the week – all filled with songs that are relatively new that sound like they’re from an older era. Any others to add to the mix?
Enjoy!

I’ll say this. I’m a Pete Yorn fan. I love his stuff. When I heard that he was making an album with Scarlett Johannson I rolled my eyes.
Truth be told. I was wrong.
Here’s the first single off their upcoming album "Break Up."
The song is called Realtor and it’s my vote as the best song of the summer. It’s catchy, fun, and light just like the last days of summer.
Enjoy!

It’s Wednesday. Half way home. Kick back as you ride out the rest of the week with some good tunes from Ryan Adams, The White Stripes, Kings of Leon and more…
