It’s almost April and a week ago we were having temperatures in the high fifties. The Chacos were out and I was  enjoying life. Then this week hits.  Tempeartures are back in the 30’s and we’ve got frickin’ snow! SNOW! Gimme a break!

The kids are out on spring break and we’ve got snow. Grrrr.
So currently at latitude 48.11 (48°6′) and longitude -122.17 (-122°10′) [Marysville, WA] the weather is less than satisfactory.

Well, it’s groundhog day and the nations two major groundhogs seem to have differentiating views.

Punxsutawney Phil the famous one from Pennsylvania saw his shadow and predicts 6 more weeks of winter.

Gen. Beauregard Lee his lesser known counterpart from Lilburn, Ga didn’t see his shadow and says spring is on it’s way.

So here’s my question, who are you pulling for: Phil or Gen. Lee?

Me? I’m going with the General, he obviously outranks Phil and I’m all for spring ASAP!

We’ve had such a mild spring here in Washington. 50’s aren’t my idea of spring weather. Yesterday it peaked at 78! Oh yeah, spring is here.
