If you’ve noticed… I haven’t been posting regularly for about 2 weeks. This is the season of spinning plates in my life. Between family and ministry, things have been pretty busy.
Our annual Youth Dynamics fundraising dinner kicks off tomorrow night. We have a goal to raise $17,000 and we believe that God can do this! There’s been tons of prep and lots of hours of work by staff and volunteers. But it’s also been a great season of watching the Lord work.
Pray for this event!
If you want to donate towards our efforts to reach out to at-risk youth with the hope of Christ…

Well, the Tonight Show with Jay Leno is back on the air. And also Conan O’Brien started his own Twitter account (http://twitter.com/ConanOBrien).
Conan’s tweets are already funnier than anything that will happen in Leno’s second run on the Tonight Show… Stick with Conan’s Tweets, you don’t have to stay up as late at night and it
Sorry Jay.

What’s your life… in a six word story?
Smith Magazine has “Six-Word Memoir” series and is asking:
“Everyone has a story. Can you tell yours in six words?”
Here’s mine:
I’m asking, seeking. knocking these days.
What’s your six-word story?

This is incredible. I love Jamie Oliver’s passion. Obesity and not eating healthy is killing our country in epic proportions.
Check out him sharing his heart for healthy eating at the TED conference.
And yes people, I believe that eating well is an aspect of a healthy Christian lifestyle.

The song was cheesy in the 80’s, but everything was cheesy in the 80’s. That worked back then.
Now? It’s just a bad rehash that’s more self-serving that anything. A touching tribute? Pleezzzze. It’s lame. It’s cheesy. I felt dirty after watching it. And seriously, you’ve got a room filled with 60 or so mildly talented singers/musicians. Can’t anyone write a new song?
If you really want to help make a difference, forget Miley Cyrus and the bunch. Just go over to World Vision, who’s doing some actual work to make a difference.

I’m going to say this upfront. I haven’t seen the new Christian movie “To Save a Life.” And I’m probably not going to. I’m biased, and jaded towards Christian media. But for those of you who have seen it, I’d love to have your reviews here.
My only request: be honest. Don’t handicap your review because it’s a Christian film. Be honest.
