Yes, over the course of any long weekend, new catch phrases arise. While there were many good quality phrases… only one rose to the top. “Honey Bucket is the New Chuch Norris.”

What does it mean? Who knows. It means what it means - that’s all you need to know. Stay tuned dear friends….

The whole weekend was pretty physical. Sea Kayaking, Mountain Biking, and Paintball. The guys were pushed. Some sweated, some complained, some wanted to quit, but they all completed the challenges before them. Wear them out, show them creation, then share the gospel.

It’s a challenge though. I had a group of 7 knuckle heads. You know the type that try to see how man crayons can fit into someone’s butt crack when they’re asleep (and no it wasn’t my crack). But they are hungry. They’re hungry for something, they just don’t know what. They want to know that there’s more.

Blogging world meet Bertha. Bertha meet the guys.

Yes this is our prized wagon. Duct taped doors and all.

But the weekend picked up. It was actually an amazing, life changing time for my group of boys. Bertha became our running joke. How was she going to break down next? How far could we push her? If a Ford Econo Van rolls off a cliff in a forest and no one is around… does it make a noise?

But seriously… during this weekend lives were changed. Guys were challenged. Faith was stretched. And that’s what it is all about. (More to come…)
