Flooding In Atlanta

Downtown Atlanta

I had heard from some people, and seen some things about the flooding in the south. I never realized it was this bad. Here’s a pic my sister-in-law took from her office in downtown Atlanta. Notice the highway completely submerged under water.

Yeah, it was pretty bad. Nothing like this ever happened before. 575 was a river, and I-20 is STILL closed. 9 people have died so far, one of them a 2 year old.

Very very tragic and unusual. I’ve never seen anything like it. Devastating lose of life & property. People lost there homes & cars & everything they own. But none of that compares to those who lost loved ones. Neighborhoods are still under water and parts of highways still closed for 2 days. Even after the rain has stopped.

Pray for us! We are supposed to have more rain tomorrow
