Since 1994 Youth Dynamics has been reaching teens in Arlington with the Good News of Jesus Christ. Youth Dynamics mission is to invite and challenge youth to a lifelong journey in relationship with Christ and His church. This mission is the heart of our ministry to local teens, many without a church home or a relationship with Christ.Youth Dynamics ministry is relational as we build into the lives of students by taking time to know them and come into their world.

Volunteering at the schools, eating lunch with the students and their friends, attending games and concerts, and getting to know their families are all a part of our relational ministry to middle school and high school students in Arlington. Our staff is highly committed to the students and takes time to listen and direct their lives toward Christ.

One program that currently is happening with YD is The Mud Hut Coffeehouse on the third floor of the American Legion. Teens gather on Wednesdays after school for pool, foosball, air hockey, Xbox games, and Italian sodas and snacks. Special events like concerts and 5^th Quarter after ball games are also held at the Mud Hut Coffeehouse. Retreats, special activities, and trips with YD Adventures are also a part of our outreach to teens. YD Adventures is the adventure-based ministry of Youth Dynamics which features activities like rock climbing, backpacking, and white-water rafting. These activities take students out of their comfort zone and challenge them to grow personally and spiritually.

Youth Dynamics is a non profit ministry supported by gifts from individuals, churches, service clubs and businesses in the community. Without the support and prayers of these people our ministry could not move forward in reaching teens in Arlington. Thanks to many who have become partners, Youth Dynamics is reaching more teens in 2008 than ever before.
