oh my gosh, my first smart aleck response would be ”give them little children for Christmas!” But, that was a good video, a kid is laying around with ‘everything’ and bemoans the fact he wants more. sounds like mine. he was whining about a pair of slippers. Thinking this morning of YD kids who may not have as much as Timothy as well. The material stuff does not meet the emotional and spiritual needs that we have. So in essence we are starving for purpose and meaning to our lives. Those who have little have in essence a better perspective on life filled with gratitude in spite of circumstances that we would be unable to bear without complaining or whining. Thanks for challenging our thinking about Christmas and the materialism that clouds and diffused the real need in our hearts for Christ.
