The song was cheesy in the 80’s, but everything was cheesy in the 80’s. That worked back then.
Now? It’s just a bad rehash that’s more self-serving that anything. A touching tribute? Pleezzzze. It’s lame. It’s cheesy. I felt dirty after watching it. And seriously, you’ve got a room filled with 60 or so mildly talented singers/musicians. Can’t anyone write a new song?
If you really want to help make a difference, forget Miley Cyrus and the bunch. Just go over to World Vision, who’s doing some actual work to make a difference.

I don’t know about you, but I’ve heard enough Christmas music to choke a reindeer. Need a break? Yes, you do.
Here’s a mix full of big sweeping sonic sounds. Oasis, 30 Seconds to Mars, OneRepublic and more…
[And bonus points if the SciFi geek in you knows the meaning behind the mix title]

Hopefully your week has been treating you all well. Mine has been giving me the “read headed stepchild” treatment.
Here’s your mix of the week – all filled with songs that are relatively new that sound like they’re from an older era. Any others to add to the mix?
Enjoy!

I’ll say this. I’m a Pete Yorn fan. I love his stuff. When I heard that he was making an album with Scarlett Johannson I rolled my eyes.
Truth be told. I was wrong.
Here’s the first single off their upcoming album "Break Up."
The song is called Realtor and it’s my vote as the best song of the summer. It’s catchy, fun, and light just like the last days of summer.
Enjoy!

It’s Wednesday. Half way home. Kick back as you ride out the rest of the week with some good tunes from Ryan Adams, The White Stripes, Kings of Leon and more…

And here are all the rest for your enjoyment!

Nothing says raw God power like a Karate Chop!

This is just wrong.

Um… no comment.

Double ummm. No comment again.

And I like how these guys are singing in hell. Quite a testimony of their musical abilities.
Well, I hope you enjoyed these amazingly creepy Christian Albums.
