Pray for us as we journey home. We will have 15 people crammed into a van. We’ll be tired, smelly, and sore. Pray for our safety and for the Lord’s continued hand on our trip.

Tonight will be our last night on the river. It becomes our most emotional evening. The end of our trip is near. Pray that we all remain present for what the Lord may have for us. Pray that we may remain in the moment and not beyond. Pray that we remain one as a group. Pray against distraction. Pray that we may continue to seek, ask and to knock after the Lord.

As I journey with 10 students today. Please pray for openness and breakthrough. Midway through our voyage typically sees openness and transparency. Pray that we may venture authentically together. Pray that we may earnestly seek the Lord. Pray that the Lord reveals himself to these students.

Seven days in one of the most isolated regions in the lower 48 states. Ahh, the Owyhee River in Idaho.

We are taking 10 students and 5 adults in inflatable kayaks. I’m leaving today and will be back on the 30th.

In about a week, I’ll be taking 12 teens on the Owyhee River in Oregon for a 7 day trip. Needless to say, I won’t have internet access - meaning I be far far way from this blog. I figured we could have some fun with this time instead of going off the air.
