You say you want a revolution?

revolution fist You say you want a revolution?

“Jesus’ Gospel reveals the primal, disruptive, inspiring, terrifying, shocking, hopeful worlds and ways of a revolutionary who seeks to overthrow the status quo in nearly every conceivable way.”

-Brian McLaren

So here’s the revolutionary [Jesus], but where’s the revolution gone? The one thing that is hardest to come to grips with is this: the gospel is here to mess up your life! Completely. Are we willing to do this? Some days I’ll say yes and step out. Other days, I bow down to the god of routine and enter his flow for my day. But if we really want revival [revolution] to happen, we must be willing to lay down all that we have to step forward into it. Whether or not Peter knew it, he left all he had behind as he joined Jesus on the open waters for a walk. He soon noticed that he didn’t have anything as he sunk. But we must come to that point of 1) seeing where we need to be {where is my Revolutionary at?} and 2) casting aside everything to join Him there {less of me and more of Him}.

These words:

primal, disruptive, inspiring,

terrifying, shocking, and hopeful…

Do they describe your life? Do they even describe your Savior? Do you want them to ?

I think the most terrifying answer that I could give would be “yes”. It is the only answer that I long for with all of my heart, and yet am afraid to death to hear. This is my God and my Jesus, and by giving Him my life….. I let these words define a facet of my relationship with Him.

Do u really think that jesus will bring politic stability? Or Social justice…? Get real…U won’t bring the revolution by parying or beeing a good person, U will bring it only if you are willingly to.
What we need is ideolgic revoltuion… wimen are equal to men, the end of capitalism and so on…I don’t really know abou’t the bible, but I belive that that shit talks about wimen should be obedient and respectfull…and then “U sall not kill!”… Wasn’t the church that burned out people in the dark age?
Don’t wait for a revolution, do it for a change…and a revolution doesn’t need violence… only when all the other options fail.

It has always been Jesus! that brought the idea, and it will be again my friends! Its the idea that we must encourage and defend! For Jesus without this is only a man!
